It’s just one of those days.

I was visiting my family over the weekend, and then I came back to the big city and felt disoriented. Maybe it’s because it’s so dreary out and I have no motivation. I’m already late with this posting. I was planning to do it last night but vegged out in front of the TV instead.

I’ve always hated cold weather. Even though I’m originally from Colorado (a place known for skiing and other winter stuff) I just can’t stand it.

Give me hot, humid weather and I’m relaxed and happy. Due to whatever reasons, the weather here in Illinois has been really bad this year. The bitter cold has lasted longer than it ever has and just when the sun comes out, it goes back into hiding.

Because of the weather my husband and I decided to regularly take our vacation in January and go someplace warm.

For the last few years we’ve been heading to Florida. I absolutely love it there! It’s my dream to move there or somewhere like California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas etc. or even overseas.

Anyone know of great job opportunities in the Carribean? Although we just went on vacation it feels like a lifetime ago, and I’m ready to get out of here.

I miss being a student and living on a university schedule where you get the entire summer off. Now, it’s basically a few weeks here or there.

I remember when I first started working out of college and I was shocked that I would only get 5 days of vacation for my first year of employment.

Wow, talk about an adjustment!

Whenever I feel down about things though looking back at our vacation photographs gives me a quick “pick-me-up”.
